HOOD COUNTY HIGH 5 NOMINEE - Annslee Tarpley

Annslee Tarpley advanced to the state cross country meet by placing fifth at the regional meet with a time of 12:48.07. Tarpley will race at the state meet Oct. 31 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.

HOOD COUNTY HIGH 5 NOMINEE - Conner Van Quill

Conner Van Quill had 110 yards on five receptions and one touchdown in Granbury's game against Azle. This was his third game of the season as he has been integrated more into the offense.
