Social media stuff is difficult for me. However, it's kind of necessary to help drive traffic to my budding Etsy shop. For one thing, I hate the sound of my own voice. Although I realize that many people feel that way about their own voice, so I try not to think about it. Another thing that makes it difficult is that I have Irritable Larynx Syndrome so I cough and choke quite often and get stuck on my own voice. But I always thought that if I ever did have a YouTube channel or anything like that, I would try to be real about it. So here's a dollhouse weekly diary video. As one of my favorite YouTubers taught me (paraphrased) "Don't be afraid to suck. Just do something sh***y. It will get better." (Thanks for the excellent advice ClutterBug!

Just back from the Tom Bishop Miniature Show in Chicago. It was amazing!!! I'll be sharing my purchases. So glad I started saving up a long time ago for this adventure. After working in 1:12 scale (most common dollhouse size) for so long, I'm making another jelly cupboard in 1:6 scale (fashion doll size) and this things feels enormous to me! LOL!

Another jelly cupboard. I wanted this to have a rustic, well loved and used look and I'm pleased with the result. I especially love the punched "tin" and the tiny, working door stop. Friday Favorite - this week's favorite mini is my newest doll from Paola&Sara Miniature. Her work is exquisite. I asked for a doll based on the father in the 1950 Cheaper by the Dozen movie and as usual, Paola created a gem for me! Be sure to check out her gallery. It's stunning!
