*Update, 7 p.m. Oct. 12* Beatriz remains missing, and an active investigation is continuing with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies and Beatriz's family.

Beatriz Adrina Verdugo, a 12-year-old girl, was last seen on Oct. 12 at approximately 3 a.m. in Hot Sulphur Springs. If you have seen her, please call Grand County Dispatch at 970-725-3311.

As of Sunday morning, Oct. 12, Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park remains temporarily closed to through travel. The road closed on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 5 p.m. due to snow and freezing temperatures. There’s currently no estimated time of reopening.

The recorded status line for Trail Ridge Road is 970-586-1222. It will be updated when the road opens, or the status changes.
