Tonight we watched on HBO Max.

Holy crap did we drop the ball not seeing that in the theater.

It was simple storytelling. They kept you guessing throughout the whole film. They had foreshadowing and the ending was clean.

I love a good thriller.

Lucy opened her mouth, desperate to defend herself, but the words clumsily stumbled out. “I—I just.” Great, she would never make it as a poker player. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her thoughts. “I’m not in any danger. Look how long you have been here, and we’ve only had that one incident. With everything going on, Arlo is at a bigger risk than I am, and he is a complete mess.” Her voice grew more confident. “I’m okay. You don’t have to worry about me.”

Bucky studied her, his brow furrowing with concern, and after a heavy sigh, he confessed, “I don’t think I can stop doing that, Lucy.”

His admission hit her like a freight train. Why was he making this so difficult? “This arrangement… it was just a job. We both knew it had to end eventually.”

He stepped closer, enough for her to feel the warmth radiating from him. With a tender movement, Bucky tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear before his fingers lingered on her cheek. “Do you really think that’s all you are to me? Just a job?”

Lucy’s lip trembled as she fought back tears, a deep ache settling in her chest. She wanted to look away, to hide from the earnestness in his eyes, but Bucky held her gaze, unwavering. After a moment’s hesitation, she gently shook her head, the silent answer hanging heavy in the air.

“Then stop pushing me away,” he urged, his voice barely a whisper, filled with a vulnerability that caught her off guard.

My husband and I finished Monster: The Ed Gein Story on

We enjoyed it a lot. We were already very familiar with Ed Gein. But they did a lot of dramtization strictly for pure fiction.

He did not help catch Ted Bundy that was a lie. There is no evidence to support Adeline actually dated and knew of his "Hobby" though she admitted to knowing him and later retracted her statement.

They drew out the ending way too long. Did not need his death hallucinations or the drunk kid in the cemetery seeing all the fictional characters he inspired. That s**t really pulled me out of the story.

So, I decided that I loved the mini-series Black Rabbit so much that I needed to write a fanfiction for it. I am fully aware that this is a niche market and will only be appealing to a small group of people. But that is okay because I also wanted to explore this for my own enjoyment. As far as I know, this is the only Black Rabbit fic on A03. I had to create new tags for this story. WILD.
