Now that all the cables and patchbays are settled, we put the first mix to the test. Sorry to say there’s something about analog that does it for me 🔌

This LA2A did a mighty fine job though. Finally got to familiarize myself with its sound and behavior. There is a downside to it though: I only have one 😥😭

Took a good little while but the rack is officially up and powered! 🤯

No real thought behind the order of the units. I just thought this configuration could be cool.

This is also a sort of welcome to the family post for this pre-pandemic Opto. So glad to have it here ❤️

Only thing left is labels on the patchbays and then it’s over for these mixes 👏

The band has a huge heart and they put a lot of themselves in the music we recorded at Stellar Sound Studio. It’s obvious in their music. But that’s the special thing these guys have: every performance it’s blatant how serious they are musically.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for this group of young musicians and I am only proud to say I got to tag along for the start of the ride 🙏

Day 1 of recovery from food poisoning but I made it in the studio today😓

Too many things going on in this space for me to handle today. But we’ll try to at least clean up and get things sorted in my new rack!😦

Yes, you read that correctly. No more loose gear in this freaking studio.

Patchbays on top, rest of the units down in the bottom section. Much excite.

Time to get to work 😪
