Everything Expo 2024, Saturday, March 16th, 9 am to 4 pm at Central Park Place, downtown Grand Haven. This free event is open to the public, and wghn radio will broadcast live! Local businesses, organizations, career opportunities, and non-profits are all under the same roof. Door prizes will be given every half hour from City Farmer, Plantengas, The Find, and more! Grand Haven High School has announced tonight's Varsity Basketball Doubleheader VS. Caledonia has been canceled due to inclement weather and unsafe travel conditions.

We were slated to carry the girls' game on The Channel 94 9 starting at 515.

High school hoops coverage is expected to return on Friday 1/19, with Doubleheaders on The Channel 94 9 (Bucs @ Jenison) and 92.1 WGHN (Lakers VS. GR West Catholic) @ 545 PM on both stations.

GHHS Swimming & Diving VS West Ottawa is STILL ON.

In the face of the impending winter storm, WGHN Radio is canceling coverage of the Spring Lake @ Allendale and Grand Haven VS West Ottawa high school basketball games on (92.1 WGHN and 94 9 The Channel, respectively) this Friday, January 12th. The safety of our hard-working staff, who make these games possible, is the most important thing to us here at One South Harbor.

Our coverage is slated to resume Tuesday night when Caledonia visits Grand Haven on 94 9 The Channel.

Again, for clarity, we are just speaking for WGHN radio coverage of the games, not any school closings or school event cancellations.

We are proud to announce the tally for the 2023 92.1 WGHN Plantengas Cleaners "Covering The Tri-Cities Coat Drive" sponsored by Tri-Cities Credit Union and co-sponsored by Kieft Insurance Agency and West Michigan Lakeshore Realtors, That’s Who We R ! Today, WGHN GM Mike Toth, TCCU Assistant Vice-President Stephanie Cwiklinski, Al Plantenga, and Ryan Kelly of Kieft Insurance Agency revealed almost 2,700 coats have been collected, with 2500 already cleaned and distributed to those in need.

Throughout the campaign, dozens of local businesses served as drop sites for coats, jackets, snow pants, and snowsuits. The clothing was then professionally cleaned by Plantenga's before disbursement.

Over the years, this annual event has gathered thousands of garments to keep our friends and neighbors warm during these Michigan winters.

Campaign organizers praised the generosity of this community and thanked their respective listeners, members, customers, and clients.

Hello Listeners,

Earlier this week, Aerosmith joined a growing list of bands that have had to cancel or reschedule live performances because of illness. Steven Tyler has sustained such stress on his vocal cords he has been ordered not to sing for a month. Aerosmith's final appearance in Michigan is one of these affected gigs. The Bad Boys from Boston will now take their bow in the Motor City on January 29th at Little Caesar's Arena. The moratorium on the band's "Peace Out" Tour (WSG The Black Crowes) lifts October 11th when they are scheduled to play Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

We play a lot of Aerosmith on The Channel 94 9, what would you like us to add from their catalog?
