The second sweep worked, I went into labor on my actual due date and she was born early in the morning the following day 💕 I still can’t believe I was able to get the epidural! As soon as the numbing shot went in I had a sudden urge to push (baby was crowning) and I somehow managed to hold off and get the epidural that wasn’t even fully set in for the birth. Looking back, I actually wish I would have just done it without, but things escalated so quickly that I honestly just wasn’t mentally prepared for that 😆 So grateful for a quick delivery and a beautiful, healthy baby girl! Maybe eating those dates did actually help with a quicker delivery - IYKYK!
