RLDL TOPWATER BASH - ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Calling all fishermen. We are gearing up for the RLDL Topwater Challenge. Sign up now by emailing us at [email protected] or messaging us on Facebook or Instagram.
This challenge is going to be just in time for those epic fall bites!
We are excited to announce that this year’s RLDL Topwater Challenge is to catch your longest three (3) bass on any topwater bait.
Examples: Frogs, Toads, Ploppers, Poppers, Spooks, Buzzbaits, and others
If you have any questions regarding whether something is or is not a Topwater bait, please let us know, and we will give a quick answer.
Dates: Saturday, September 12, 2026 - Sunday, September 27, 2026
This is a catch photo release challenge.
Any water (public & private) and means of legal fishing (shore, wading, dock, kayak, or boat).
You can submit your photos by responding to [email protected] or on Facebook and Instagram messenger.
The tourney will be based on the three (3) longest black bass (largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and spotted bass).
All fish must be caught using topwater bait.
Photo Rules
1. Must be on a bump board (If you need a bump board check out this link: https://omnia.direct/KetchMeasuringBoard
2. Must include the Topwater bait used in the picture
3. Must include tournament identifier in the picture
4. The mouth of the fish must be closed.
a. mouth closed full length is counted
b. mouth partially open full length - 1/4 inch is counted
c. mouth fully open full length - 1/2 inch is counted
5. Please state the fish's measurement in the message.

Marketing
1. Use the in any social media or YouTube posts
2. Please also tag us in your posts and videos. We will make a playlist from all the YouTube Videos made from fishing the event and this makes it easier for us to find them.

The topwater bait used in this challenge can be custom-built or commercially available.
