This is very valid and im glad as always that William has touched on this!
Greetings. Revealing Reactions.
The recent opinions and revelations offered by the now retired Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick have resulted in some revealing and disconcerting accusations. Let's take a look at the situation, and how the UFO subculture arrived at their odious station.
Some people in the UFO arena have declared Dr. Kirkpatrick a CIA operative, a government hack, and a disinformation agent hell bent on leading the public astray. Of course, as is often the case when it comes to the UFO topic, none of the people making the statements have bothered to provide any proof or evidence to support their claims, nor will they. All we have is empty talk and accusations, nothing more.
It's extremely amusing how often individuals in the UFO subculture claim that they want the involvement of the scientific research community, but when a scientist makes valid, accurate, and defensible statements about the UFO problem, based on data and information, and not opinion, that scientist is immediately attacked by the UFO masses. Turns out the UFO subculture does not want the help of scientists, the UFO subculture wants confirmation, and nothing more. So when a scientist with the education, credentials, and accomplishments of Dr. Kirkpatrick makes statements that are supported by the data that was made available, it is of no importance. If the good doctor had stated that alien visitation had indeed occurred, and that the data he had examined supported that conclusion, he would have been celebrated by the entire UFO subculture for his scientific success. Any other conclusion would be, and is viewed, by UFO people as nonsense, or misinformation, or the workings of a government operative. Talk about hypocritical.
Back to the accusations, the onus is squarely on the people making claims about Dr. Kirkpatrick to prove their allegations, but so far....crickets. Nothing. Just cheap talk. However, even that talk is cleaner than the excrement coming out of the mouths of Jeremy Corbell and Christopher Wolford. I would print their statements in this blog posting, but I have some readers who are ladies, and I refuse to disrespect them, but I will provide a link to a video recently released by The New York Post's Steven Greenstreet. It contains the audio/video snippet of Mr. Corbell's statement, a screenshot of Mr. Wolford's statement, and some other abhorrent rhetoric courtesy of the UFO subculture. I strongly encourage my readers to take an honest look at what it contains, it is quite an eye opening presentation.

It truly speaks volumes about the personal morality and professional integrity of those people who continue to throw verbal stones at someone they have never met, someone with a family, someone who has not responded in kind. Intellectual interactions should be conducted with data, evidence, and valid information, not with the rhetoric of a grade school bully. Adults should be old enough to know better, but it seems that some members of the UFO subculture did not get that particular memo. Regardless of our individual points of view, it is imperative and productive to keep our interactions professional, and free of personal attacks.
