Grand Teton National Park did NOT disappoint. 🏔️

We rode into the park with rain, clouds, and very little visibility, but somehow the Tetons still managed to take our breath away. Finally getting to stop at Mormon Row, a bucket-list photography spot for me, was such a surreal moment.

And a raven even landed on the sign while we were taking photos. 🖤 Since my bike is named Raven, that felt pretty darn special.

Even with the clouds, riding through Grand Teton felt like a fantasy world. ✨

Three weeks ago, I rode into Babes Ride Out Deadwood alone and left with friends I only hoped I’d cross paths with again someday.

I didn’t expect “someday” to come so fast, but this week my favorite Kiwi rolled through Colorado to rest up from her travels and soak in a little of my home state.

I had to work, so most of our time was spent hanging out at the house, but we still made the most of what’s close by, visiting the kind of spots she might’ve skipped if she were exploring solo.

• A walk with the dogs at R***e Falls 🌊
• A drive through Colorado National Monument 🏜️
• A trip down to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park 🪨

Connections like this are exactly why I chose to attend Babes Ride Out and why I’ll likely keep showing up for events that push me out of my comfort zone and introduce me to incredible people.

For years, I put thousands of miles on my 2009 Nightster. Chasing sunsets, clearing my head, and learning who I was on two wheels. I love that bike and I'll never get rid of it, but deep down I knew I needed something more… even though it felt out of reach.

Then Levi purchased a 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide and then let me take it on a 3-day trip just a few short days later. During that 700+ mile ride I was hooked in a way I couldn’t ignore. I needed my own touring bike; something built for the long haul, the big views, the freedom.

And by October 2024… we made it happen.

That’s when Raven came into my life. My very own 2024 Road Glide. I named her Raven because, in so many cultures, ravens symbolize transformation and good things to come. That’s exactly what she represents for me: change, growth, and the start of soul-healing adventures.

Every mile since has been a reminder that sometimes the thing you think is “not in the cards” is actually the thing waiting to change your life.

Meet Clevis, my 2009 Harley‑Davidson Nightster.

My dad bought it brand new, and we rode all over Appalachia together before I lost him in 2014. For years, I watched the bike sit in garages and storage units, unsure where to start and how to afford it… until 2021, when I finally got my endorsement and brought his bike back to life.

Every mile since has been part of my healing; learning to wrench, finding community, and even meeting my partner because of this bike. It’s more than metal and rubber; it’s a piece of my dad that still rides with me every time I turn the key.

It’s finally time for our annual vacation on two wheels, and this year we’re headed north. 🏍️💨

After leaving R***e, CO, we battled the heat, made an emergency pit stop at a beautiful little lake near Rangely, rolled through Dinosaur, Colorado 🦖, stopped in Vernal, and then took the scenic route through Flaming Gorge and the Sheep Creek Geological Loop. 🏔️

And because apparently we can’t pass a Harley dealership without stopping… there may have been another poker chip or two added to the collection. 😉

We wrapped up the day with dinner at Wind River Brewing Company in Pinedale, Wyoming, before finally making it to Jackson.

It was a long day, a HOT day, and a whole lot of miles... with a splash of downpour 🌧️, but honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

25 years later, we still remember. 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001 changed our country forever. We remember the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the brave first responders who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away.

We remember the courage, the sacrifice, and the incredible way Americans came together in the days that followed.

Today, as we ride beneath the same flag that has carried us through so much, take a moment to remember those who never made it home, and those who gave everything trying to help others.

Never forget. 🇺🇸
