In a state park with over 17 miles of designated hiking trails...find one you haven't explored before and it'll lead you to places you'd never expect to discover.
π₯Ύ This particular trail was grassy, the weather was drizzly and we had light rain showers from time to time.
π£ We came across two people making their way up the South Branch Root River fly fishing in hopes of catching a Trout.
π Partway down the trail and before looping back through the prairie and woods, we looked up and saw these huge cliffsides.
π¦ Swallows didn't seem to mind the rain as they dove for mayflies that had hatched, then swooped back up to their nests in the cliffsides.
π₯Ύ Take this as your sign to get outside today, take a trail or path or sidewalk you've never explored before and keep your heart open and curious as to what might be around the next bend.
