AT LAST & THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PATIENCE
We had been scrambling (that’s an understatement) for the past three months but finally; a G.M. Pilot edition. After all, Mary had her job descriptions, and I had mine. And, well, she didn’t want mine and I didn’t want hers, so neither of us learned the others! My saving grace, our daughter Ashleigh who has created hundreds of ads through the past three decades without a single graphic design course, that we begged her to take, and we promised we would pay for; but, hey, she has hooked up with our Davisburg Printer as Mary did with one of the planet’s most gentle souls at the Ann Arbor Press, John Weisberg, who walked Mary through the programs she needed to know to lay a paper. We thank Todd Hagerman at Michigan Web for like kind tutoring and now we will be shipping to press this week.
Please note, it has been 3 months; so all subscribers subscriptions will be extended three months. Typically, 75 p.c. renew at this time of year so we are hoping you all renew when your current listing is about to expire. This will be another job Ashleigh will learn. Logging in all new subscribers, and prior to each edition will be sending here to print. I’m hoping the folding ladies will still be on board to help get the paper to the Post Office.
Once again, thanks so much everyone for your patience. And, I hope to respond to each and every donor and person who has sent a card and all the people who offered support for our families.

What a tough and growing gritty team. Kinda reminds me of those young girls that grew into a District Winning Volleyball Team a couple decades ago. They actually have a taller girl already than that 5 foot 4 average team. Go Polar Bears!

The G.M. Soccer team lost twice too, Friday night at this morning, but they surely didn't come up empty. The young Bears, a couple in the 6th grade, lost 6-2 last night but the score doesn't reflect their turn around after falling behind 4-0 in the first half. They played Hannahville even up in the second half and had some good momentum going after scoring twice to close the gap to 4-2. A beautiful drive when the ball hit the goal post would have given the Bears 3-2 in second half goals. This morning they lost 4-2. These young athletes are really fun to watch grow! Go Polar Bears!

Some fun between volleyball sets last evening and this morning. Our growing girls, still three in middle school, played real obstinate volleyball last night and this morning. Still with growing pangs they battled an older team to the final set last evening after winning the second. The more battle tested girls are consistently getting their serves over and are beginning to dive, and they're learning the game is a contact sport either with the floor or teammate to keep the ball in play on critical plays. The Bears mascot, entertained the fans between sets; and the players too. What a hoot!
