🤕 These cards have def seen better days and I’ve been told to “get a new deck” but for those who don’t do what I do, don’t understand there’s an emotional attachment to these cards with pictures on them… 😢 I’ve had them years and they’ve read hundreds of people, giving them guidance and help ❤️‍🩹

👋🏼 So this weekend at Blake’s Lavender Festival was going to be my last event because life is taking me in other directions… But let’s just say I wasn’t expecting Mother Nature to force me out as violently as she did or a day early!!🌪️

From start to finish these past two weekends at this event have been hell! 🛖 From me forgetting the roof of my tent to extreme heat exhaustion ☀️ the first weekend to it being cancelled yesterday and the storm 🫯 destroying mine and a lot of the other people’s small businesses was devastating 💔 Thank you to so many people who all pulled together to help each other, it really was a full community contribution 🥰

🪐 I think it’s safe to say the universe made it known to me today that this really was my last event. I’ll still be available for readings 🔮 and I’ll be selling the inventory I have left online.

Well… that wasn’t exactly the peaceful start to the weekend we had in mind 😬

Thanks to last night’s storm, we arrived this morning to a tent that had seen better days, soggy stock, and enough water to consider opening a swimming pool instead of a market stall 🌧️😂

After a few deep breaths, a lot of drying off, and some creative problem-solving, we’re officially back in business! Sometimes all you can do is laugh, roll up your sleeves, and make the best of a bad situation.

We also want to say a huge thank you to Blake’s and all of the amazing vendors who have checked in on us, offered help, and reminded us what a fantastic community this is. Your kindness hasn’t gone unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful.

Now, with fingers crossed that Mother Nature has had her fun, here’s to a successful couple of weekends for everyone here! If you’re visiting, come and say hi… we promise we’re much drier now! 😂❤️
