I love an event where there are no song requests and folks just ask you to do your thang. I am selective about gigs that I accept. I am a DJ with crippling anxiety and fighting through it is difficult; however, what would happen if I didn’t fight? Defeat is not my portion!

I love to watch the crowd and also draw energy from them. I only play music that I love. I ask questions about the audience prior to a gig and am clear on the music I play.

I am grateful that people rock with me and understand who I am as a DJ. I am DJ Della Soul. I do not use a streaming service. I only use my downloaded music playlist.

Please continue to fight for your dreams. You will fasho find your people who will want to support and see you win!
