What a treat it was for us to get to welcome Joe Bellanti, Corey Kertzie, and Dave Ruch (aka Organ Fairchild) back to town for an evening of splendid tunes, groovy smiles, and serious dance moves. These gents are a class act and deserve all of the love and roses we can throw at them. We could never forget Captain Kirk Barkel's blues ripper of a solo set, and a huge thanks to the local charming young fellows, Four More Shapes, who put on a captivating performance of an ultra extended dead cover (loved it) and their inspiring originals. We appreciate every single one of you that come together to make these events special, see you soon down here on the Southside.

Amazing times at The Philmore in Grand Rapids last night!! We love this place and wish them all the success in the world. Homey, eclectic, laid back and always focused on the music. Four More Shapes and Captain Kirk got the night started off proper, and we didn't want to stop playing so we never ended up taking a set break. Special thanks to the Indiana fam who made the trek, Josh for the great hospitality and all who joined us - hope it's not too long before we can play here again. No set list last night, so we just called tunes from the stage round-robin style starting with Corey. Pretty sure this is how it shook out... (soundboard recording should be out this coming week on nugs.net and Bandcamp):

However, this is aint no side show Bob, so we’re pulling in the big gun as we welcome a solo groove session with West Michigan blues artist, Kirk Barkel :: aka Captain Kirk
