Long distance hiker Christopher White is checking off more miles of the NCT this weekend and started his day in Keewatin, where he had left off several weekends ago! He plans to do Buhl to Virginia on Sunday, so if you're looking for something to do, head out to join him!

Join us for the Arrowhead Chapter of the North Country Trail's monthly meeting tomorrow (Thursday, March 20th) at the Itasca County Family YMCA in the classroom behind the fireplace at 6pm! We will have snacks, so please feel free to join us there! I (Amanda Mac) plan to be there by 5:15pm so come and hang out if you'd like. :)

Saturday was perfect for a brisk snowshoe hike on the new section of NCT. Thanks Jon and Eric for having a toasty fire going for us at the new campsite. Our next group hike will be on March 15th, meeting at Tioga Beach at 9am and hiking to Loon’s Call. Hope to see you there!

Zach Johns from the Arrowhead Chapter attended this Coalition gathering in Virginia.

The Arrowhead Coalition of Trails brings together ATVing, mountain biking, hiking, snowmobiling and others to build on outdoor recreation in the region.
