So, I did a thing. I did some research on the history of the Five-Fold Ministry offices in the modern church era, and I found that from 1940 -2020, God has been systematically opening the Heavens over each five-fold office, reforming each five-fold office about every 20 years. Ive come to realize that revival comes for the purposes of reformation and renovation. God comes to restore lost truth, and place His church back on the right path.
Open Heavens Over The Office of the Evangelist : 1940 - 1980
God started with the office of the Evangelist. The office of the Evangelist is to call lost sheep back into the Lord's pasture. God opened His treasure-house over this office so that it could have special Grace to gather people into the House of God.
Open Heavens Over The Office Prophet & Apostle: 1980 - 2000
During this period, revival broke out in amazing ways across Christendom, particularly in the USA. It is during this time where we see the revival of the Toronto Blessing spread its Glory-fire across the land, and we see God touch the office of the Apostle and Prophet. We see the rise of Apostle John Eckhardt and C. Peter Wagner, whose ministries reformed the office of the Apostle greatly, bringing unprecedented restoration and activation back to these offices in amazing ways. We also see the rise of the office of the Prophet, such as the Kansas City Prophets, like Mike Bickle Official Page , Bob Jones, and Paul Cain , whose influence effect many other ministers.
Open Heavens Over the Office of Pastor: 2000-2020
It is during this era that God ministered special Grace over the Pastoral offices, which brought much restoration and reformation to these offices. Though the mega church had already been established decades before, we saw an increase in mega ministries, with Pastors at the helm. We see the rise and emphasis on pastors such as Creflo A. Dollar , Fred Price, Kenneth Copeland Ministries , T.D. Jakes Ministries , I.V. Bishop I.V. Hilliard , and many many more.
Open Heavens Over the Office of the Teacher: 2020 - Present
Now, we are seeing God restore the office of the Teacher. In the coming days you will see God pour our special Grace on this office in greater caliber, and many teachers will begin to rise in the land. The office of the teacher is very important in this end-time season, becuase deception is strongest now than any other time. Teachers will be raised up by God, and their ministries will have strong discernment, understanding, vision and revelation in order to teach the Body of Christ to know the difference between the holy and the profane. Teachers break deception and bring enlightenment.
