Vivant Brewery & Spirits is turning 15—and instead of throwing a traditional beer fest, they’re giving the city a free all-day block party.
On Saturday, September 13 (1–9 p.m.), Vivant’s Cherry Street lot will transform into the Community Jamboree Festival, a celebration of family, food, music, and neighborhood pride.

1–5 p.m. (family focus): Artist market, food trucks, ice cream, kid slushies, giant yard games (including brand-new Giant Co****le).

5–9 p.m. (music focus): Live bands made up of Vivant staff and patrons: Dr. 4Ward & the Hosts, Green Acres, and Cheap Emotion.

Free admission: Food, drinks, and treats available for purchase.

“Being part of this community has been in our DNA since day one,” says co-founder Kris Spaulding. “That’s why we made this year’s festival free—for everyone.”

With Uptown GR co-sponsoring, the event also highlights Grand Rapids’ unique walkable neighborhoods and locally owned businesses.
