If you're planning to catch the Fourth of July fireworks downtown, the spot's moved this year.

Since the Ah-Nab-Awen Park is closed for the Grand River restoration project, the fireworks watch party is moving to the Amway Hotel's employee parking lot at 51 Market Ave SW.

As for the other plans, the fireworks will be lit from the Fulton Street Bridge instead of the Gillet Bridge.

Some other details that you should know:

- The viewing area opens at 6 PM and the show starts at 10:30 PM
- Food vendors, exhibitor booths & the Meijer Family Fun Zone on-site
- This year’s show will feature an expanded finale to celebrate the U.S.'s 250th birthday

And as always the event is free, open to the public, and the fireworks are still going to light up downtown.
