We were blown away by the talent and incredible participation in this challenge. This was the first time for the 4 of us to collaborate together, and before this, none of us had done anything of this nature. So it was a new challenge for us, too. Thank you to the 84 amazing musicians who entered and created 38 new songs for this challenge!!

Last month, , , , and challenged songwriters to forge a new collaboration by participating in the New Moon Songwriting Challenge! We received 38 songs from 84 artists of all ages from every part of Michigan spanning rock, Americana, folk, rap, pop, jazz, and more! 

The purpose of the challenge was to discover new talent, encourage artists to try something new and learn new collaboration skills. 38 songs were birthed into the universe by some crazy talented humans. As facilitators, we are honored to have received so many hearts poured out into song. Our hope is that the prompt inspired artists, created new friendships/mentorships, and pushed people outside their box into new, exciting spaces. 

We’ll be announcing who is taking home the grand prize later this week. Choosing the top songs: Ryan (), Chelsea (), Jennifer (), and Elle (). This is a new collaboration for us too! We have not worked together professionally before. Jen and Ryan met for the first time last night and we can’t wait to do it again.

This April, challenge yourself and a friend to a new collaboration by participating in the New Moon Songwriting Challenge! You have 30 days to create a song. This challenge is open to all ages, genres, solo artists, bands… those just getting started and seasoned pros!

Enter an unreleased original, co-written song by recording a video and posting it on Instagram using the hashtag and tagging , , and .

The grand prize will be chosen by the panel and announced by May 7th, 2023. The grand prize is a recording session with to record the song, a promo photoshoot with , a video session with , a showcase opportunity with , and a music business consulting session with .

Our hope is that you create something new with someone you might not have collaborated with before. The purpose of this challenge is to bring artists together who chose to participate by establishing common ground. Each artist will have their song shared in a featured social media post and receive 10% off services from select sponsors until October 2023. One entry per artist. Submissions close at 12am EST on April 30, 2023. Entries must follow the sponsor accounts.

I'm so honored and proud of the work that we did for album Daybreak that won Listener's Choice - Album Of The Year for 2023 Jammies Awards.
Everyone on this album completely KILLED IT with their performances on every song. There's so much heart and soul that went into this groovy album!

Nate Walton and The Remedy had their two brother sister albums Daybreak & Night Drive Recorded and Mixed all here at . Throughout the process, I learned a ton as an engineer through the making of these two albums and it was amazing to be able to work with such incredible and talented people in the band.

I've been waiting a while to post about these wonderful albums that just got released! and the Remedy really captured a unique vibe and definitely made a musical statement within the songwriting and performances captured on these two albums.
