Did you funkin know… some “kids books” never actually make it to kids? 👀

My friend wrote one that definitely wouldn’t survive a school library shelf… so of course I had to read it on camera.

It’s called “Dixon, My Ass” and it’s exactly the kind of ridiculous, borderline-wrong humor that makes you laugh because you can’t believe someone actually printed it. 😂

So today I’m reading a rejected-style kids book that probably should have stayed rejected… but honestly it’s too funny not to exist.

Grand Rapids is getting hit with some crazy wind today. I was driving down Plainfield and saw a car on its side… and at this point I’m just going to assume the wind did it. 😂

Did you funkin know strong wind gusts can actually push vehicles sideways if they hit the broad side of the car? It’s basically like the car turning into a giant sail for a second.

Now… did the wind actually flip that car? I have no idea. But with the way the wind is blowing today, I’m not ruling it out. 🌪️

🌧️ **Heads up Grand Rapids!**

We’re getting absolutely hammered with rain right now and parts of **28th Street are turning into straight-up rivers.** If you’re out driving, slow it down and keep an eye out for standing water. Some spots are already flooding across the lanes and it doesn’t take much for a car to lose control when the roads look like this.

If you don’t need to be out, it might be a good time to stay put for a bit and let it pass. And if you’re heading toward 28th Street, you might want to take a different route. Stay safe out there tonight and keep an eye on the roads. 🌧️🚗
