DJ, lighting, and live music booking Solid Sound Music is a mobile DJ service based out of Grand Rapids, MI. We have a music bank of more than 10,000 songs!

We also service nearby communities from Big Rapids to Kalamazoo. We specialize in weddings, but will service school dances, office parties, private functions, or anything else that you need to make your event better! Anything we don't already have is available on request. Owner Matt Plessner used to work for a radio station and has easy access to new music. We also have a flexible format adapted t

o fit any need. Our enormous music bank also includes many genres, including RockNRoll, Rap, Hip Hop, Disco, Metal, Country, Easy Listening, Jazz, Soul, Blues, and much, much more. Our Equipment is both top notch and easy and fast to set up. The PA system we use supports both recorded AND live music, both of which we provide. We also have a brand new set of very colorful LED lights, as scanners, strobe lights, and laser lights. Our mission is to make your event better than you dreamed possible.
