Hi. I live in a hard water area and have been using the hg bathroom spray for years with no issues. I’ve now noticed my kitchen sink no longer shines after a clean and loots matt. It’s not limescale as the spray has sorted that but the shine has gone. Like I said never had issues with this before, it’s a recent thing. Any tips please to get the shine back? Thanks in advance

Okay, so I decided to go with white tiles and black grout (because, you know, Pinterest made it look so good), and the walls are this warm olive green. Now that it’s halfway done, I’m low-key panicking about how it’s all going to look together 😬 Please, Reddit, validate my feelings before I spiral!

Next steps are matte black hardware for the shower and fixtures, and teak wood cabinets under the sink.

If anyone’s done something similar, please share pictures! I’d love to see how it turned out and calm my design anxiety a little 😂

I want to thank this community for helping me figure out my yellowing towels. I have very hard well water, but also a pretty good (as far as I know) whole water filter + softener. My white towels were getting orange/yellow. I tried it all: bleach, oxy clean, vinagre, baking soda, you name it. Until I read yesterday about “Iron Out”. This thing is magical!!! I went from “all these towels are now downgraded to floor rags” to “these have a bit more life to it”. Highly recommended! Before and after pics (the disgusting one was used once) I will also start investing/testing to try to understand why so much iron in the water…
