Long time, no post! I figured it’s time I jump on here and give a quick little update about Timber + Sea Co.

I’m no longer taking on event clients & will only be taking branding clients by request. As much as I LOVE what I do, I simply cannot continue to stretch myself in 100 different directions. Instead, I’ve been working on putting my whole focus on my career, my family and my health.

It has been a stressful and eventful past few months, but it’s given me time to reflect and pray about my path. It’s hard not to feel that I failed, but I’ve come to the realization that I expect too much of myself and have a lot of preconceived notions in my mind.

I appreciate your support to no end, and hope that you’ll continue to support me in this decision. I’m working on wrapping up my current projects & will keep this page to share any creative projects that may come my way! Thank you so much to this amazing community 💖

Wedding planning can be STRESSFUL.

There’s no doubt about it! It’s also expensive. I had the naive notion that I could have my dream wedding for $5K and quickly realized that was not going to happen. Of course there are ways to cut & save on a wedding budget, but you have to be willing to sacrifice.

Why sacrifice when you can have the ceremony of your dreams? Grab your fiancé, your officiant & photographer and run to your favorite destination. You can choose anywhere in the world without worrying about who to invite & who not to.

You can always celebrate with your friends & family later, but take the time to enjoy an intimate and stress-free moment with each other. So if you’re finding yourself crying over tablescapes and welcome signs, consider forgoing the traditional wedding and getting eloped instead! ⛰

When it came to the logo for her new nail studio (coming to Crescent City soon!), Wendy wanted to pay homage to her hometown roots & those who gave her the push to follow her passions.

Following her inspiration, we went with the coastal color palette, anchor design and modern, Cali-cool typography. ☀️

Moodboards will forever be my favorite thing about branding.

Even when I was younger, I was cutting up fashion magazines and glueing the pieces onto paper or taping them on my bedroom walls. I would ferociously reorganize my Pinterest boards by theme, idea, color scheme or category (still do).

There’s just something about seeing a concept start with something so simple as a collage of inspiration, turn into something so unique and special. ✨
