One of my favorite parts about my journey of being a wedding filmmaker for the past 9 years, is refining the ability of taking in the environment and determining how to best grasp it using my craft & love of storytelling — I always tell my couples, my favorite way to to capture them is just by them being them, having genuine conversation with each other, laughter, love, being quirky, silly & imperfectly perfect.. and that unfolds when you build trust, friendship & space. It unfolds when you allow moments to naturally unfold and take up the time they were always meant to take up in the first place.

You can’t rush or facilitate the moments that are only brought on naturally.

Some of the best artists aren’t always those that are the loudest, that learn to control every aspect of their art or subject, but the ones that take time to take a step back — to embrace the chaos, the uncontrolled moments & elements, to observe, to feel, & then paint the story. 🕊️💌🤎

Posting this reminded me that I really need to update my branding photos — just stuck in the middle. I love the sophisticated look, it’s classic but wanting more of my personality & uniqueness to come through and incorporate elements & environments that feel & showcase more me. SOS, I need help. 🆘 🫶🏼

These two high school sweethearts, Max + Maddy, had us all in tears while they exchanged vows on this beautiful September day in Bend, Oregon. 🌲🤎

I truly love filming both weddings & elopements, and I know the common dominator for me is my couples & the heart behind it all.

I’m all about the weddings, big & small, that feel emotional, intimate & intentional. I’ve been to weddings where the guest count is in the 300’s & it truly felt like every single person would have had a seat at their thanksgiving dinner table.

Spotting & capturing those genuine moments is important to me & I know for the couples that book me, it’s important to them too.

M & M’s August Washington Elopement was one to remember!! From the intimate early morning ceremony, to brunch, to drive-in dinners, & sunset spent in a canoeing on the lake. It was a dream!! We had so much fun just exploring & talking and enjoying the day!

Delivering this film later this week & I honestly might be sad when I’m finished. Never ever want to forget this day!! 🫶🏼🥹

Gearing up for my last wedding of the year this weekend & reflecting on my ✨7th✨ year of being a wedding filmmaker — I seriously cannot even believe that.

Throughout the years, my love of capturing sweet love stories only continues to grow. I still get so excited to meet each couple, to approach each film with a unique perspective, and making my couples documentation truly meaningful & unique to them. 🦋

2023 has been such a gift — thankful to be on this journey with so many of you & to be preserving so many of life’s treasured moments. It’s about time to hunker down into editing season & dream big with my 2024 clients 💭✨🫶🏼

19 hours of driving, 18 hours of filming, not enough hours of sleep & way to many coffees in the last few days but I seriously have the best job ever. There’s only a few weeks left until peak busy season comes to a close & I’m so ready to hunker down into editing this fall & share some amazing films & moments from this year.

Hi friends — I think it’s time for a reintroduction of your girl behind Benham Films (still can’t believe this rebrand is real life) 🪩✨

So hi, it’s me Kaitlyn! Rainy days, quiet early mornings, belly laughs & a warm cup of coffee are a few of my favorite things. I’m a enneagram 2 w 3 | ambitious, altruistic & social. I’m a giver by nature & a romantic by heart. I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart, a mama to two incredible little girls & a lover of Jesus.

Through film, we can take a temporary moment and make it last forever and I still can’t believe this gets to be my job. I fell in love with being a wedding videographer right from the start and I love getting to meet new people & build deep meaningful relationships. I’m truly so thankful to still be doing this 7 years later & to love my job now more than ever — which I didn’t know could be possible. This covenant God designed for us is so incredible & I can’t believe I get to capture it in all its glory.

THE SECRETS OUT 🍾🪩💫

It was time you guys — for my entire career I’ve been Forever Films but so much has changed in these past 7 years. It’s been on my heart for so long to make a change & create a brand that I felt represented who I am a little bit better.

For those that know me best, know that I try to bring intention & purpose into everything I do. I pour a piece of myself into each & every film I get the honor of creating and that’s the heart behind Benham Films.

So much of my ‘why’ as a creative, a filmmaker & a small business stems from my beliefs, my heart & my family. My two daughters are the very inspiration behind the Benham Films floral element — my sweet little October babies.

A huge thank you to the incredible for bringing my vision to life. 🫶🏼

I can’t believe I’ve been living a dream I never even knew I had of preserving life’s fleeting moments through film. Thank you to all of you who have supported me, shared my work, referred me, & cheered me on. I’m truly so grateful!

With all that being said — enjoy the new logo, eeeeek (!!)💃🏻 Bare with me as everything gets changed in the coming weeks (keeping my current email handy for the time being tho)

Our Story

We are Seth + Kaitlyn Benham. A professional husband + wife wedding videography team devoted to capturing unique and timeless love stories. We will travel for love + work for tacos.

We started dating when we were two awkward high school kids in 2013 and we got married in our hometown in September of 2017. We continue to live in Southern Oregon with our sweet Aussie, Maverick and we are expecting our first little one this fall.

We enjoy getting to meet new people, traveling to different places and creating intimate and captivating films. We love the outdoors, snowboarding, Jesus, spending time with our friends + family and we can’t wait to meet you!
