Last night, we were invited to attend a recall results party at the republican party offices and speak with some of our local representatives involved. The room turned from optimistic excitement to shocked disappointment as the results came in and showed the majority voted to recall commissioner West. Results are in that the public voted in favor of the recall petition. Votes are still be counted and confirmed but the percentages were somewhere around the range of 65% in favor of the recall and 35% against. The Oregon Grape was invited to the results party at the republican party office and will be releasing an episode speaking with some of the folks involved by tomorrow morning.

As some of you may know, the TOG team had been working to facilitate a debate between Commissioner John West and some of the spokespeople for the recall petition against him. Unfortunately, we were not able to agree upon the terms under which to host the debate and decided to do separate interviews instead, which can now be viewed on our Youtube channel.
