Throwback to the massive KatanaKraft boat drop that we had the pleasure of being the media crew for last year! We had a team of 10 people doing photo/video for this event.

KatanaKraft designed and built 3 new boats to live on Crater Lake, Oregon to be used as their new tour boats. It took a massive helicopter with a full crew to drop off the new boats and pull the previously used boats out of the water.

Seeing all of this in action was truly a sight to behold!

In this role, you are an essential part of the Novum Visuals team, creating digital video content for clients across the nation. This position is fast-paced and highly creative. It requires organization, self reliance, and most importantly, the ability to execute creative ideas from inception to completion.

Novum Visuals is a rapidly-growing, Southern Oregon-based video and digital marketing agency which serves a nationwide clientbase in the industrial, manufacturing, and e-commerce space. We are a small, but dedicated team of young professionals who specialize in storytelling and capturing the true essence of the brands we partner with. We bring a modern approach to all aspects of digital marketing; specifically in content creation, paid advertising, and organic social media strategy. Our culture is fun and laid-back, and we rely on one another to achieve success.

Please submit your resume, any work samples (both video and photo) and a short paragraph on why you’d be a good fit for the position. The paragraph does not have to be a formal cover letter, just an informal statement on what you can bring to the table.

Job Responsibilities -
Include but are not limited to:
On any given day, you will be producing meaningful and creative video content that serves a variety of purposes for our clients.
Storyboarding & Pre-production: planning and providing creative ideas and input with our internal team and clients.
Field & Studio Production: On site you will be overseeing shoots, which includes everything from directing, filming, managing talent, and communicating with clients
Editing: must be able to edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge in After Effects, Audition, and any other Adobe platform is a plus)
Photography skills are a plus and may be needed from time to time
Must be willing to travel around Oregon and the US/world for projects

Location -
We are looking to hire for this position in the Southern Oregon area (Grants Pass, Medford, Ashland, surrounding areas). All pre-production and editing work will be remote. Filming will be on location wherever the project is taking place.

Sometimes you just have to make something that looks cool and gets the people going!😎

That's what we did for the Knife River Corporation for their employee conference they hold every year. They played this video at the very beginning of the conference in order to get everyone excited and pumped up about the job they go to every day. A lot of people think video marketing is only meant for external facing projects, stuff that is seen by the general public, but oftentimes, it's for internal marketing purposes, conferences, employee recruitment, etc. Enjoy!
