A suspect in an aggravated battery case is currently held without bond in the Jones County jail following an additional charge filed due to the condition of the victim in the case.

A suspect in an aggravated battery case is currently held without bond in the Jones County jail following an additional charge filed due to the condition of the victim in the case. Michael Adams Youngblood, 40, was arrested May 26 and charged with simple battery and aggravated battery.

🇺🇸 Join Us for a Flag Day Ceremony 🇺🇸

The Jones County Sheriff's Office, Jones County Fire Department, and the American Legion, in association with the Boy Scout Troop 485, invite the community to join us as we celebrate Flag Day and honor those who have served our nation.

This special ceremony will include the respectful retirement of worn and tattered American flags, the playing of Taps by a bugler, and a performance of the National Anthem.

We especially encourage veterans and their families to attend, but this event is open to everyone in our community who wishes to honor our flag, our veterans, and the values they represent.

We hope you'll join us as we come together in patriotism, remembrance, and gratitude.
