I’m kicking off a new fundraiser this weekend at the Canton Canoe Weekend! 100% of the $$$ from hat sales will be redistributed to 10 lucky youth paddlers 17 and under. To qualify, paddlers must complete a minimum of 30 miles (50km) of marathon canoe racing in the 2025 season. Applications will be accepted in August and bursary winners will be drawn randomly in mid-September. The more hats sold, the more money given out. Stop by the Southern Tier tent and pick one up for $25 USD, $35 CDN. Hats will be available at various races throughout the 2025 season and on my website www.ripplefxpaddles.com
