Meet The Hosts Of Lancer Radio!

Will is on air every Tuesday from 11 AM to 1 PM. He describes his music taste as “a little bit of this a little bit of that, a buffet”. Will’s favorite genre is psychedelic rock with his favorite artists being The Doors, Grateful Dead, King Gizzard and The Wizard Lizard.

Will is in his second semester at CLC and he is studying communications to use in a broadcasting environment.

In the studio loading some new music in and the phone rings. On the other end is one of those Google business listing scams where they say the listing is "Unverified" and customers will have a hard time finding us and to "Press 0 to speak to a representative".

What else other than press 0 is one to do? Cue hold music.

When the "Representative" answers, the conversation went a little along these lines:

"[Her name] am I speaking with the business owner?"

"Lancer Radio, you're on the air!"

"I'm on the air?"

"You're on the air!"

She sighed and said "Oh lord..." before hanging up.

Meet The Hosts Of Lancer Radio!

The People’s Floor, hosted by Alex and Gel, is on air from 12 to 1 PM every other Thursday. The show is similar to Alex’s solo show Your Turn, Your Time. Every show they sit down with someone from the CLC community for an intimate interview.

Alex is in her first year at CLC and she is studying English to be come a screen writer. Gel is in her second year at CLC and is studying digital media and communications in hopes to work in marketing and branding.
