We picked all of our tomatoes before the frost came. We had nearly 300 green tomatoes (some were small varieties)! I placed many of the small ones in a box near the woodstove and filled 3 paper bags with larger ones and then closed the bags with clothes pins. I set them next to the wood stove as well. 2 weeks later answering are ripening tons of tomatoes! We’ve already made and frozen lots of tomato sauce. I’m glad I read up on this otherwise we’d have fed them to the pigs.
