The project has been in the works for years that started during the Lighfoot administration by the Department of Plaining but now it’s offcial. A developer will receive a huge 30.2 million dollar development TIFF grant for the project in the McKinley Park Neighborhood. Some residents are excited it will increase their property value while others worry it will further gentrify the neighborhood.

Some cool skateboarding happening this evening along the lakefront with the Sapient skateboard team. Many of the participants helped construct the Marshfield Courts skate board park at 35th and Marshfield in McKinley Park.
