We will be in front of 14 grocery stores this Saturday from 9am to 3pm collecting turkeys and nonperishable food items! Our first shift is completely full across all our stores, but we still need 42 volunteers for the remaining two shifts at select locations. Below is a full list of all available spots. The Weld Food Bank is getting overwhelmed with people needing help. On Monday, they had cars lined up around the block and extended its hours as it sees more demand.

As we opened at 8am this morning, over 100 cars were in line waiting for food assistance. That is almost twice as many cars as we normally see waiting on a Monday morning. So far, 2/3 of the households we have served have told us they are being impacted by the freeze in SNAP funding. If you’d like to make an immediate impact to help us during this extraordinarily difficult time, visit weldfoodbank.org/snaphelp to sign up to volunteer or donate.

A special thank you to the city and county for helping us rework our parking lot to triple the amount of cars we can fit into the lot.

We started matching donations to the Weld Food Bank this Monday. The Nerd Store is committed to helping our community, so we will be matching donations through Thanksgiving, up to $5,000! Donate on their website and bring us proof of donation. Help us reach our goal of donating $5K!

🎉We are excited and grateful to be recipients of Next with Kyle Clark’s Word of Thanks weekly giving campaign this upcoming week! He will be featuring Weld Food Bank on tomorrow’s program and encouraging viewers to make at least a $5 donation to us. We seen Chicken Salad Chick offer an amazing offer to kids eating free and we want to help as well... we are a small family owned business and wish we could do more to help. So we will also be offering a sale until EBT benefits are restored.

If we unite as a community and do one small thing then we can all rise above the current circumstances. Regardless of political stance we need to come together. We are accepting any canned and non perishable food items to help build Thanksgiving dinner boxes to a few families in need.

Will you please help us by dropping off food or making a donation. All donations will be followed with proof of food purchases that go towards the food boxes.

Along with that we are also offering a sale until EBT benefits are restored.
All children 12 years old and under get a 10 piece mini pancakes 1/2 off and children 5 and under get a free 5 piece Mini pancakes.
