The Colorado Sound wishes you a meaningful Juneteenth!

Juneteenth is “the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the U.S.”

Dating back to June 19, 1865, when Union soldiers landed at Galveston, Texas and shared the news that the Civil War had ended and that enslaved people were now free.
