I stayed at the Chattanoogan Hotel, where the conference was hosted ✨ staying at the conference hotel makes my days feel a little less chaotic

was there sharing about updates to STEP, safe traveler announcements, passport renewals, and had a spot set up to take passport photos with good lighting! They’ve convinced me to do the digital passport renewal, it seems like a super smooth process

At WITS they always have an exhibitor hall with sponsors that you can network with and even pitch to get partnerships. I chatted with about their group trips and affiliate program and they gave me the cutest bag!

I love seeing friends and making new ones at WITS 💕 having creator friends has changed my life and my business

We even decorated the little labels to go on the front. I mixed like 3 different scents and added a little glitter ✨

I can't wait to attend the Midwest Travel Network annual conference in McHenry County, Illinois ✨ I look forward to this conference every year and love connecting (and re-connecting) with Midwest tourism boards, travel writers, and content creators.

This nonprofit is the perfect example of how much one person can make a difference. Michela started this nonprofit to support other families in Hawaii with children who are diagnosed with brain cancer after she lost her daughter Kaylan. Michela’s nonprofit offers financial support and helps families navigate the diagnosis, treatment, grief, and loss.

She does this in honor of her daughter. The mission of this nonprofit is “No Ohana Fights Alone” and the fundraising they do throughout the year, allows them to support these families.

When you support a nonprofit, especially ones like this, your donation of time or money goes so far! Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and runners who showed up to support this cause ✨

The Women in Travel Summit (WITS) hosted by Wanderful is hands-down my favorite week of the year. It brings together women creators, writers, podcasters, YouTubers, and media voices across the travel industry. But what makes it special isn’t just who’s in the room; it’s the energy.

There’s something incredibly powerful about being surrounded by women who are genuinely passionate about what they do and are showing up fully as themselves.

My first WITS, back in 2022, was the first time I was ever in a room where everyone understood the journey I was on as a content creator. From talking about the highs to the lows of this career, every person I talked to just understood it.

That kind of kindness, support, and connection is what kept me growing and building my business as a content creator. If you've ever considered attending, take this as your sign. This Saturday, I’ll be supporting Kaylan’s Warrior Fun Run hosted by the foundation✨

This event raises funds for families in Hawaii who are navigating childhood brain cancer, something no parent or child should ever have to face alone. What makes this run so meaningful is that it’s not just about miles. It’s about showing up for families in their hardest seasons and honoring the strength of kids who are fighting battles far bigger than themselves.

The best part is that you don’t need to be in Hawaii to take part; there’s a virtual option happening all month long, so anyone can join in from wherever you are.

If you’re in Hawaii, the Fun Run is happening Saturday, May 9th on Oahu, and May 31st on the Big Island. If you’re looking for a way to support, participating, or even just sharing this makes a difference!
