A man can love you and still not marry you. He might be with you s*xually for years without proposing. But once he meets someone who brings stability into his life, he will marry her.

By "stability," I mean "Peace of Mind." Men often say, "I love this woman, but I don’t think I can spend my life with her." When men think about marriage, they’re not focused on things like wedding dresses or bridesmaids, like many women are. Instead, they think, “Can this woman create a home with me? Can she take care of our children and me? Will she give me peace and comfort?”

Men seek peace. They avoid women who bring stress into their lives. This is why a man might stay with one woman for years but marry someone else after a shorter time.

For men, it’s not just about s*x or love; it’s about RESPECT, because respect brings STABILITY.

7 ways to spot a master manipulator within 5 minutes of meeting them, according to psychology

Being able to distinguish a genuine person from a master manipulator can save you a lot of trouble down the line. It’s not always easy to spot, especially when you first meet someone.

But here’s the thing, psychology provides us with some pretty neat tricks to detect a manipulator within just 5 minutes of meeting them.

In the next sections, I’m going to share with you 7 psychological tips that can help you spot a master manipulator. Trust me, being aware of these tactics will make your interactions a lot smoother and safer.
So, ready to become a human lie detector? Let’s dive in!

1) They’re overly charming
You’ve just met them, yet they’re laying it on thick with the charm. It’s like they’ve known you for years. Sounds familiar?

Psychologists refer to this as ‘love bombing‘. Manipulators use this technique to win you over, so you’re less likely to question their motives later on.

But don’t let the flattery cloud your judgement. Genuine connections require time and shared experiences. If someone is instantly your ‘best friend’, it’s worth keeping an eye on their behavior moving forward.

Remember, true charm isn’t about being liked by everyone; it’s about being genuine, respectful and considerate. So if it feels too good to be true, it probably is.

2) They play the victim card
I once knew a person who always seemed to be the victim of every situation. No matter what, they were never at fault. It was always someone else’s responsibility.

Psychologists call this ‘playing the victim’. Manipulators often use this tactic to gain sympathy and divert attention away from their own bad behavior.

This friend of mine would always have a sob story ready whenever they were caught out. It was never their fault that they were late, or forgot an important task, or even when they upset someone. There was always an excuse, and it was always designed to elicit sympathy.

Remember, everyone has bad days, but if someone consistently refuses to take responsibility for their actions, it’s a red flag.

3) They’re skilled at mirroring
In psychology, mirroring refers to the behavior in which one person subconsciously imitates the gesture, speech pattern, or attitude of another. It’s a way we connect with others, showing empathy and understanding.

But manipulators often use this technique to their advantage. They mirror your behavior to make you feel comfortable and to gain your trust.

Did you know that the FBI uses mirroring techniques during interrogations to establish rapport and gain more information? Quite fascinating, isn’t it? But in the wrong hands, this technique can be used for more nefarious purposes.

While genuine empathy is a positive trait, be wary of those who seem to agree with everything you say or mimic your actions too closely. They might be trying to manipulate you into letting your guard down.

4) They’re always testing your boundaries
Ever met someone who seems to get a kick out of seeing how far they can push you? This is a classic sign of a manipulator.

Manipulators have a knack for testing boundaries. They’ll often ask for small favors or push your buttons just to see your reaction. This isn’t because they necessarily need the favor done, but rather to gauge how much they can get away with.

If you notice someone constantly pushing your limits and not respecting your ‘no’, it’s time to take a step back and reassess the situation. It’s important to set and enforce healthy boundaries to protect yourself from manipulation.

5) They’re skilled in the art of gaslighting
I remember a time when I was constantly doubting my own memory and judgement. I was dealing with a person who had an uncanny ability to twist situations and words to always make me feel like I was in the wrong.

This is known as gaslighting, a manipulative tactic where a person makes you question your own reality. It’s an insidious form of manipulation because it can lead to you doubting your own sanity.

The more you’re aware of this tactic, the better equipped you’ll be to stand your ground when someone tries to gaslight you. Trust your instincts and don’t let anyone shake your reality.

6) They’re experts at guilt-tripping
Ever felt bad for not fulfilling someone’s request, even when it was unreasonable or inconvenient for you? That’s a manipulator at work.

Manipulators are experts in the art of guilt-tripping. They know exactly how to make you feel guilty for not bending to their will, often making you feel selfish for prioritising your own needs over theirs.

If someone consistently makes you feel guilty for setting boundaries or saying no, it’s a clear sign of manipulation. Remember, it’s okay to put yourself first and refuse requests that are unreasonable or inconvenient. You have every right to prioritize your own well-being.

7) They’re masters of diversion
The most crucial thing to remember is that manipulators are masters at diverting attention away from their actions. When confronted, they’ll often change the topic, make a counter-accusation, or do anything to shift the focus off them.

This tactic is designed to confuse you and make it harder for you to keep track of what’s really happening. It’s a blatant attempt to hide their manipulation and escape accountability.

Stay alert and don’t let yourself be sidetracked. Stick to the issue at hand and don’t let a master manipulator change the narrative.

280 Romanian mercenaries captured and surrendered to 🙏🏿🇷🇼🪖

Rwanda is one of the safest country in Africa for for a reason and we will not allow anyone to destabilise out country, not once.

Mercenaries have been reported in Africa helping to destabilise the continent.

Rwanda is often cited as one of the safest countries in Africa. The nation has a low crime rate, and its capital, Kigali, is known for its cleanliness and order. Violent crimes are relatively rare, and the government maintains a strong grip on security operations.

We thank our men and women in Uniform for keeping our country safe.🙏🏿
