The Greater Green Bay Chamber Young Professionals program hosted its annual S.O.U.P. (Support of Urban Projects) event on Tuesday night. More than 100 people gathered to enjoy a warm meal of soup and hear five local nonprofits share their bold project ideas to make a positive impact on Greater Green Bay. Laundry Love Brown County pitched this year's winning project and received a check for $3,000 at the event. That funding will support the all-volunteer nonprofit that provides free weekly laundry services to individuals and families in need and allow them to continue transforming laundromats into spaces of dignity and connection, offering detergent, supplies and compassion at no cost.
