Lil Birdy Bakehouse Drops Four Flavors and Gives Back
The self-serve cake pop cart on Lawrence Drive in De Pere is adding Strawberry Pop-Tart, Crème Brûlée, Chocolate Toffee Crunch, and Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin starting Friday. All October long, 25% of their profits go to a breast cancer awareness charity.

Grab a pop, do a little good.

🍫 Seroogy's Chocolates Made a Horchata Meltaway

Danny Treminio, who leads customer service at Seroogy's, pitched a horchata flavor for Hispanic Heritage Month and then helped build it batch by batch: a creamy white chocolate center with cinnamon, vanilla, and toasted rice, wrapped in white chocolate and dusted with cinnamon. He even hand-drew the wrapper art, featuring a Resplendent Quetzal as a nod to his Nicaraguan roots.

It's available through Día de los Mu***os on Nov. 2, and sales benefit a local bilingual early childhood program.

Rescue-animal barn morning, 9 AM to noon, $30 per vehicle at the door. ADA accessible, rain or shine.
Bring cut fruit and veggies: Peter the goat wants blueberries, Beluga the pig votes for grapes, and Bubbles the cow prefers graham crackers.

Sand & water activities, circle time, art, snacks, music, movement, and a chance for parents to connect with other families.

👶 Who: Children ages 0–4 with a parent or guardian

📣 Calling local artists, makers, vendors & entrepreneurs!

Sharing this great opportunity for anyone who has products to sell and would like to participate in an upcoming local vendor event!

They are still looking to fill vendor spots and would love to bring in a wide variety of artists, makers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. Vendors can apply for one or multiple Saturday dates.

They’re also looking for help spreading the word and bringing more shoppers to the event. If you have a business, organization, newsletter, community page, church, school group, or another way to help promote the event, please reach out.

They are also hoping to add special activities during the Saturday events to help draw in more foot traffic and support the vendors. Some ideas include:

• Local choirs or bands
• Wreath-making workshops
• Art competitions or “Art Wars”
• Cookie exchanges
• Kids’ activities
• Demonstrations or other workshops

If you or someone you know has a fun idea, business, group, or activity that could be a great fit, please reach out to the event organizer!

🔴 Badger Bash North Takes Over Broadway.

The day before the big game, the Broadway District throws the official party, and all of it is free. It starts at 1 pm with a community cleanup of Veterans Memorial, Shipyard, and Seymour parks (supplies provided; park at the Neville). At 2 pm, the Family Football Combine opens at Leicht Park with the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, QB toss, bounce house, face painting, and balloon animals. Then the UW Marching Band parades over the Main Street Bridge, Bucky and the Spirit Squad make the rounds, Matt Lepay (the radio voice of the Badgers) headlines the Badger Program, Fun with Atoms and FBI & The Untouchable Horns play live, and the whole thing caps off with fireworks over the Fox River. Food trucks, beverage tents, and Badgers gear all day. No game ticket needed.

🗓️ Sat Sept 5, kicks off at 1 p.m., fireworks over the Fox after dark
