The Outlook Lodge

The Outlook Lodge Boutique Hotel in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado For additional information, visit www.outlookgmf.com.

With a grand opening November 2012, The Outlook Lodge is a handsome retreat tucked away in picturesque Green Mountain Falls, Colo. Located northwest of Colorado Springs at an elevation of 7800 ft., Green Mountain Falls has been a resort destination since the late 1800s. Originally constructed in 1889 and comprised of six suites, The Outlook Lodge has been re-imagined as a private, bespoke escape p

roviding all the necessary creature comforts while maintaining a rustic simplicity. While the exterior woodwork and detailing have remained, preserving the timeless charm of its Victorian style, original and contemporary pieces from American artists are displayed throughout the Lodge, and in each suite, a nod to the owner’s passion for art.

The skies may have changed, but art is still in the air.
While Off the Beaten Path was deinstalled earlier than planned due to weather, there’s still so much to discover in Green Mountain Falls.
Don’t miss “Stone on Boundary GMF” by Yasuaki Onishi, a breathtaking work created during Green Box’s Artist in Residence program this spring. Shaped from copper foil hammered over ancient river stones from Eleven Mile State Park, it explores the balance between presence and absence — inviting us to see beyond the surface.

📍Visit it inside the Lakeview Terrace building, open to the public during select hours.

If you’re staying at The Outlook Lodge, make sure to see this remarkable installation in person.
