Chance the undesirable

He was an adoption failure and return to the blm. Small, very underweight, hooves severely overgrown. I decided to pick him up and try to help him.

He was on the range wild for 8 years and unhandled for 10 years. He was very challenging to gentle. Extremely reactive, unwilling to try, and intelligent.

Today, Chance has learned to accept humans in his life. He’s always happy to see us and has started to visit with some strangers at times. Slowly with careful handlings and training he is accepting domestication and becoming a friend.

It’s great to have the big beautiful perfect mustangs but it’s also great to give the throw aways a chance at life.

There are something’s AI will never be able to do for us. But there is plenty that AI can take away from us. I’ll choose...

There are something’s AI will never be able to do for us. But there is plenty that AI can take away from us. I’ll choose to work hard and have what little I build then to accept a computer can do it better for me while taking our clean water and energy harvesting our precious earth.

Luckily, they can’t come for my job today.

Mustangs are winning

Here is Matt French and his Mustang Navarro. They are currently sitting in 1st place at the Working Equitation World Championships in Ease of Handling Maneability in Spain.

Also in Spain is Robin Bond and her Mustang Zapata a Kiger Mustang out of Oregon. Two of Americas Wild horses on team USA at the 2026 working equitation world championships.

For those that believe mustangs don’t stand a competitive chance, this is two mustangs internationally proving you wrong.

How bad do you want it? Self taught equestrian here. Study, work hard, take advice, and put the time in. Cool Breeze and I have a long way to go but each session we get better even if only in the smallest efforts.

Jenna, Chance, and….Clarice 🤣

Clarice was attacked by the other chickens and has been raised in quarantine. She doesn’t know how to be a chicken anymore. She thinks Jenna is her mommy. Chance just follows along at this point.

Allow solitude to give your busy mind room to rest, create and think. Don’t lose yourself in loneliness. Being a dreamer with a creative mind can be hard for people to relate or even understand. You don’t need them too.

Explaining your inner world can feel like translating a rare language. Not everyone will connect with you. Trying to shift or change the pace, intensity, or curiosity just to make others comfortable or form connections may leave you a liked person but unknown and lonely within.

Let the connections come into your path but don’t change your path to keep those connections 💖
