The Community Outreach Council has sponsored Akron's YMCA 5K/1M walk, and we are calling for volunteers to help us! There will be a 5K run as well as a 1 mile walk.

We're teaming up with Tumble N Kids Gymnastics to offer exciting new classes for kids ages 1 to 12. Perfect for all skill levels, whether your child is just starting out or already cartwheeling with confidence!

Each session runs for 5 weeks, with classes starting July 29th. We're offering sessions at both Balch Street Fitness Center (220 S. Balch St., 44302) and Patterson Park Community Center (800 Patterson Ave., 44310).

On Friday, July 25th, join Dorie for a scenic and informative walk in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We'll be joined by Ranger Kelly Goetz, who will teach us all about Beaver Marsh. Beaver Marsh is one of the most diverse natural communities in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. There is so much history and beautiful scenery to explore!

The walk will be approximately two miles and will take about an hour. No registration is required. This is a self-drive event. FREE! Please arrive a few minutes before start time.
