Mr. Woodard serves on the NEA Steering Committee and is a Fight Back, Fight Forward Ambassador. Mrs. Dyer is a member of the NEA Resolutions Committee, as well as a member of the NEA Women’s Caucus; the NEA LGBTQ+ Caucus; the Educators of Multilingual Learners Caucus; and the NEA Peace & Justice Caucus.

We appreciate both members for representing RCEA and TEA at the NEA RA in Portland, Oregon!

TEA Executive Director Terrance Gibson is honored to serve Tennessee in a new capacity through Leadership Tennessee's Signature Program Class XII. Among a class of 50 leaders from across the state, he’ll spend the next year exploring the issues that matter most to Tennesseans and working toward solutions that can move our state forward.

Safety in Schools, an online safety training company headquartered in Nashville, is bringing one-of-a-kind safety training to TEA’s tens of thousands of members. The program was created by safety experts, educators and risk managers to equip educators with actionable knowledge to keep schools safe.
