We’re beyond excited to transform the third-floor TV studio into a microcinema! Welcome to Public Excess, a monthly film screening series where movie lovers and makers can mix, mingle, and enjoy hand-selected favorites from one of the biggest film buffs around, Otis Wheeler.

MOVIE SCREENING — December 18 at 7 PM (Doors at 6:30)

We’re kicking things off with a bang: a group screening of Pee-wee’s Playhouse Christmas Special (1988) — the perfect dose of wild holiday joy! This festive cult classic is packed with more celebrity cameos than you can count, tons of puppets (our fave!), and all the chaotic charm that makes Pee-wee an icon.

Before the feature, we’ll show Thu Tran’s festive Food Party Xmas Special (2008), produced at an actual public access station!

Come join us! Free admission. Limited to 35 seats — first come, first served.
