Continuing "The Great Pause of 2020", Brooklyn based DJ and producer, Rupert Wall mixed Itsu Sounds 005, and it’s delicious.

His eclectic style of spaced out, deep, minimal grooves creates a captivating and hypnotic vibe that always satiates my hankering, but I still want more...call me greedy.

Happy Monday April 20th ! Listen to good music 👇

Itsu Sounds 004 mixed by Calvin, brings us some much needed playful storytelling during, "The Great Pause of 2020".

Calvin, (who lives upstairs) baits us with a drone, a shuffle, and an existential idiom that bathes us in familiarity - An early Sunday morning walk home in Brooklyn, perhaps?

This used to be the only quiet moment you’d get in Brooklyn.

The air cool and damp, long sun rays peeking around the buildings, no one is outside unless they’re still going from the previous night…You find yourself in a rush to go nowhere for the first time in as long as you can remember.

You slow your step. You start to notice small details around you.

Micro and macro are the same, the past is the future. There is only here and now.

I’ve been inside my apartment for 6 weeks straight because I want to be responsible, but now, I hear everyone in the same voice. That’s gonna take some work to remember to notice those unique details again, and this is the perfect starting place.
