Sometimes people don’t want to admit it, but it’s real. Uncountable truths do exist.

There are people who have to work 10 times harder, watch every word they say to avoid being labeled, tiptoe around people they shouldn’t have to, and watch opportunities pass them by, all because of the color of their skin.

Privilege is real. Recognizing that doesn’t diminish anyone else’s hard work. It simply acknowledges that the playing field isn’t always level.

I’ve been in enough rooms and worked with enough businesses, both big and small, to see it with my own eyes. And when I see it, I’ll speak up. Not because it’s popular, but because it’s right.

Real change starts when we’re willing to have uncomfortable conversations instead of pretending uncomfortable truths don’t exist.
