Supporting the Causes That Matter Most to Sedgefield

Sedgefield is full of caring neighbors who are passionate about giving back — whether it’s volunteering, fundraising, or supporting local and national causes.

At Stroll Sedgefield, we want to help share your charitable efforts and community events. If you’re hosting or involved in a fundraiser, benefit, or awareness event, let us help spread the word!

We can feature your event by:
• Adding a “Save the Date” in the magazine
• Including it on our Calendar of Events page
• Covering the event afterward with photos and highlights

When submitting your event, please include:
• Event name and date
• The cause or organization
• How neighbors can attend, donate, or get involved
• Contact or website for more info

We also invite our Resident Ambassadors to help connect us with and highlight these amazing efforts throughout Sedgefield.

We’re so proud of Sedgefield resident Susan Brodeur, Executive Director and Piedmont USTA Local League Coordinator, for doing a fantastic job coordinating the Carolinas Adaptive Standing Tennis (CAST) Tournament this past weekend!

The event brought para-standing tennis players from around the world to Greensboro for an inspiring weekend of competition, connection, and community. Para Standing Tennis provides access to the sport for athletes with physical disabilities, using adaptive equipment, modified rules, and flexible formats—ensuring everyone has the chance to play, compete, and thrive.

Thank you, Susan, for your leadership, dedication, and passion in making this incredible event a success. Your hard work is helping make tennis more inclusive for everyone! 👏🎾💙
