It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of our friend, colleague, and chief investigator. Clay Wiggins was part of almost every homicide prosecution our office handled over the last five years. He did his job so well that he redefined what it meant to be an investigator for a district attorney’s office. Most recently, Clay was recognized as the investigator of the year for the State of Georgia.
Clay was respected by our law enforcement partners, the defense bar, and our judges. He built a reputation of being intelligent, hard working, and always willing to provide a helping hand. He was a great at his job, but was an even better father and husband.
