New Growth Press

New Growth Press Publisher of gospel-centered, Bible-based materials for churches and families.

Since 2006 New Growth Press (NGP) has provided churches, families, and individuals with life-changing books, small group resources, and minibooks that are grounded in scriptural truth and the gospel of grace. We strive to proclaim truth, mercy, and the transforming power of the gospel to a needy world. That’s why we offer a biblical-counseling approach to tough issues in relationships, marriage, a

nd parenting; it’s why we publish discipleship materials for all ages and missional resources to equip the church. NGP produces resources that are theologically robust, meet the needs of the Christian community, and point people all over the world to Christ. NGP is also passionate about teaching the good news of the kingdom to the next generation and has created an exclusive line of children and family products for homes, churches, and schools. Each curriculum, family devotional, and book has Jesus as its foundation and focus. Children are drawn to the fun and colorful illustrations and appealing storylines that teach them the Bible and reach young hearts with the lasting truth of the gospel.

Zoe is worried about a class trip to the art museum because the last time they went, the group left her behind. She’s afraid that might happen again, so heads to her favorite hiding place underneath her purple quilt. As she talks with her parents, Zoe realizes she can turn to God for help. Papa Mouse gives her a verse from the "Great Book" that she can read when she is afraid. She learns to turn each fear into a prayer, remembering that Jesus is always near—her refuge in times of trouble—a better refuge than even her purple quilt.

Part of the Good News for Little Hearts series, Zoe’s Hiding Place invites children to remember the Lord is near whenever they are anxious and afraid.

Following the format of his popular storybook studies, Marty Machowski weaves a Bible study of the book of Romans with a fictional story. The Sword shares the story of Katana and Brant who find a wooden sword and ancient journal belonging to Magnus, a one-time gladiator who became a guard who watched over the apostle Paul while he was under house arrest. Their discovery leads the siblings on a quest to reveal the mystery of the swords by studying Magnus’s journal.

"Here is the thing—the beginning of Jesus’s life and ministry was a portent of the way things would go through the ages. We shouldn’t be shocked or bewildered. People—sometimes crushing numbers of people—will hear about Jesus and begin to follow him. They take their stand right along with the legit believers and seem to be the real deal. Then . . . where’d they go? Some bolt, some wander, some fizzle . . . but the next thing you know, they aren’t around anymore."

New blog post from Jeff Dodge, author of Gospel 201.

The beginning of Jesus's early ministry seemed like a runaway success story. Everyone had heard of him, but after awhile, the number of followers began to dwindle. Jesus knew this would happen and tells about it in the Parable of The Sower and the Seed.
