For our final meeting of the Spring 2025 semester, The Collegian hosted its first ever in-class awards ceremony as a way to show gratitude for the hard work and effort of our amazing staff members! Both serious and joke awards were given, but all in all this was a great and fun way to end the year! Here’s the list of all the award recipients:
- “Rookie of the Year” goes to Shaniah Taylor
- “Most Consistent” goes to Taylor Cotie
- “Top Contributor” goes to Riley Blankenship
- “Punctual” goes to David Slifer
- “Thanks for Letting me Know!” goes to Luke Butner
- “Hush” goes to Larkin Baxley, Payton Bell, and Taylor Cotie
- “At least I make it!” goes to Shaniah Taylor
- “Submissions Only” goes to Sarai Acosta and Regan Dailey
- “I swear I’ll have it finished” goes to Sloanne Petersen
- “Let me say Something” goes to Payton Bell
