Here are 3 things I wish more crafters knew before trying to sell summer products:

1. Summer is not slow when you create around real moments.

2. You do not need a brand-new idea for every product. One theme can stretch across a full bundle.

3. Customers need visuals. If you show the full vacation vibe, they can picture themselves buying it.

That’s why mockups, bundles, and clear product ideas matter so much.

Don’t just sell “a shirt.”
Sell the vacation crew look.
Sell the cruise bundle.
Sell the girls trip set.
Sell the family travel memory.

That’s how you make summer content work harder.

Before I started thinking in bundles, I was leaving money on the table.

Real talk…
There was a time when I would think of one product at a time.

A customer wants a shirt? Cool, I’ll make the shirt.
Somebody asks for a tumbler? Cool, I’ll make the tumbler.

But I wasn’t always thinking about the bigger picture.
If someone is going on a family vacation, they may need more than shirts.

They may need:
- Tumblers for the ride
- Tote bags for the beach
- Luggage tags for the airport
- Fans for the heat
- Journals for memories
- Stickers for fun
- Gift bags for the group

Once I started looking at the full occasion, I saw more ways to serve the customer and make better offers.

That’s the shift.

Not “What can I make?”

But “What moment are they preparing for?”

Sometimes the customer is not saying no. They just don’t know what else you offer.

If all they see is shirts, they will only ask for shirts.

Show the tumbler.

Show the fan.
Show the luggage tag.
Show the full bundle.

Customers cannot buy what they do not know exists.

Yep. That one stings a little, but it’s true.
